A Dedicated Studio | Work Space
It’s important to have space where you know you can get your work done. Find that space where you would feel motivated & focused. Find your zone where you can brainstorm ideas the best way & hence, work on it.
Somewhere that has minimal distractions and all the resources you need to be productive. This is different for everyone, but even if you’re home alone, having a dedicated office space helps you stay focused & makes sense too.

A few items like plants or anything that calms your mind.
Keep yourself and your work well organised. Keep a planner handy & plan everything. It’s up to you to put your to-do list in order. It can help you stay on track and avoid feeling overwhelmed or distracted.

Obstacles are for those who see it
Have you ever felt that you have so many “what if’s” in your work life that completely drains your focus from being productive to being depressed all the time? You keep your mind busy being worried instead of being focused to work upon the problem areas.
It’s just the matter of your thinking & attitude towards a situation or an obstacle. You would see an obstacle only if you want it to look like that. You could see it as an opportunity to be stronger & to be better than you ever have been. The choice is completely yours and in your hands.
I agree there are exceptional times when you have to compromise for a time being, but you always can make sure that it’s a temporary one. Because no matter what, situations would align.
Dress for Work (Not necessary, but works)
You can try this trick and see if that works for you. Start every morning dressing up as if you are going into a formal office. It is important because it sets the mindset that you are in a place of business and you are a professional.
Keep the Social Media Distraction away for a while
It would be distracting if one of your tabs is always on Facebook or some other social media. Keep them at a bay for the crucial time for example when you are working on the main concept and working upon creative ideas.
Checking social media throughout the day affects your work output directly in a negative way.
You don’t have to do it all alone. Consider hiring an assistant or housekeeper to help reduce the scope of your responsibilities, and keep yourself focused.
Get Out and Socialize
Don’t be too hard on yourself & take a break out so that your mind refreshes. It’s important if you Work at home that you make an effort to get out of the house and socialize regularly.
Whether it’s going out for a lunch with family or friends or even meeting up with a group of other Work-at-home pros, you can be more focused and productive after spending some time away from work.
Enjoy your flexibility
If you find yourself diverted? Take a break, read a book, or even by quitting work for half of the day. Because your work schedule can be as flexible as you need it to be, sometimes it’s important to walk away to let creative ideas flow (But don’t make it a regular habit).
Don’t forget to note down the tasks that you get completed, no matter how big or small they are. Reward yourself once in a while with something you have ever wished to have. It will keep you more positive towards your work & plans.
